Let me back up.  

Your Vision Statement is going to be the guiding light of your business. Where is it now, where is it going and where do you envision it being in the future? 

Consider all the ways that you’ve grown inside of your business since starting. 

Consider where you want to go. 

When you’re writing a vision statement, you’re making sure that your actions are aligning with the big goals you’ve set for yourself inside of your business. 


“But how do I write a vision statement?”


Best way to figure it out? Journal on it. Here are a few prompts to get you started.

 

  1. Consider your purpose. Why did you start? What led you here? 
  2. What makes you feel empowered? 
  3. What makes you feel like you’re in service to others?
  4. What actions make you feel like the best version of yourself?
  5. What are some big, scary goals you’re setting inside of your business? 

 

Once you’ve journaled on those, review what you wrote. Circle the parts that stand out to you. These are going to be the nuggets that help potential clients understand & identify with your brand. 

Keep it clear. Keep it concise. Keep it goal-oriented.
