Building Your Social Media Confidence

Did you know that your confidence on social media shines through in everything you do? I’m talking posts, videos, boomerangs, stories - you name it, I promise you your audience is watching and it counts. 

So what happens when you show up and you don’t feel confident? 

Well, it can come across as looking like you’re not the expert in your niche, even though you are. It can look like you’re unsure of your offers or that you don’t have the answers your audience is seeking. 

That could be pretty detrimental to all of your business dreams. So, on the flip side, if you’re eager to appear more confident to your audience - what do you do? 

Fake it till you make it

You’ve probably heard that advice before, but weren’t sure how to apply it. Let’s take a look. 

When you’re acting like someone who’s confident and you’re acting like someone who gets it, your audience is going to catch on. Even if you don’t feel confident internally, appearing confident outwardly is half the battle. When your business starts to take off, take those feelings with you as you step into the newest, most confident version of yourself. 

Who knows - that may just become your new normal. 

Focus on your wins

So you had a bad day and now you’re wondering why you even started your business in the first place.

First, I want to validate this. It’s totally normal and we’ve all been there at one time or another. 

When you can take a step back from your frustration and aggravation, start to fuel your gratitude. Make a list of everything you’re grateful for. Roof over your head? Grateful. Food in your belly? Grateful? Made a sale lately? Grateful. 

Not only can that start to turn your mood around, but it can remind you why you’re working your business.

The kicker?

When you show up as the most confident version of yourself, you’re communicating to your audience that you are an authority, you know your stuff and they are LUCKY to be buying from you. 

My best advice? Practice, practice, practice. Showing up on stories or posting frequently can feel daunting, but like anything, the more you do it, the easier it becomes.
